The pandemic crisis is generating an uncertain future for the music ecosystem. The #NextStageChallenge online hackathon & support program aims to find immediate solutions that can give a chance to artists, promoters and all those that have been deeply affected by the global lockdown to explore new forms of experience and business models for the current crisis and beyond.
The #NextStageChallenge 3 phases program has the objective to work on innovative and sustainable projects to reshape live experience in the digital space.
- #Access (creation, production, broadcasting, curation)
- #FanEngagement (audience, user experience, immersives technologies)
- #Value (monetization, monitoring, right management)
The call for registration is open until April 24th, 2020. The remote hackathon challenge kicks off on April 27th and closes on May 11th. The support program to accelerate the selected winning projects will run from May 18th to July 10th, 2020.
Next Stage Challenge is an initiative supported by European music industry organisations and music innovation specialists Music Innovation Hub (Italy), Music Norway (Norway), Music Tech (Germany), Music Ally (UK), Sacem (France), Sound Diplomacy, Technoport (Luxembourg), Teosto (Finland), TheLynk (France) και California Music Tech (Belgium).
