HEMI - HUB FOR TGHE EXCHANGE OF MUSIC INNOVATION

About

HEMI – Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation

A multi-country Creative Europe project building the first music innovation platform for Central and Southeast Europe

Programme Overview

HEMI was a five-year cooperation project co-funded by Creative Europe that created a transnational platform to support music professionals across Central and Southeast Europe.

It combined incubation, mentoring, awards, and business training to strengthen the sector’s capacity for export, collaboration, and innovation.

HEMI aimed to professionalise the creative workforce, connect fragmented ecosystems, and help cultural operators become future-ready.

MESO’s Role

MESO initiated the project and co-designed the HEMI consortium in partnership with Technopolis City of Athens. It led programme development for mentoring and entrepreneurial training, co-created the HEMI Music Awards, and managed communications and stakeholder outreach throughout the region.
