About us

MESO is a nonprofit cultural organisation based in Athens, active since 1998. We support the music ecosystem through events, programmes, and partnerships that link creativity with learning, innovation, and public value.

From launching European Music Day in Greece to co-creating initiatives like Athens Music Week and HEMI, MESO has evolved into a trusted connector between local culture and international collaboration.

We operate with legal transparency under Greek law and are eligible for national, EU, and private funding, including grants, sponsorships, and donations.

Our values

We believe in the power of music to build shared purpose and long-term value. Our goal is to support artists, professionals, and networks in developing inclusive ecosystems where creativity, learning, and opportunity come together.

Our work is collaborative by design, grounded in real needs, and focused on innovation, sustainability, and social impact.

Mission in action

From city-wide celebrations to mentoring labs and regional hubs, MESO builds projects where music connects with civic life, entrepreneurship, and policy.

We co-design programmes that support mobility, talent development, and ecosystem growth, always grounded in collaboration and shared benefit.
