Following the sucesfull conference of Athens and the signature of the Athens Declaration on Cultural Clusters organised by MESO Music Events in June 2013, we are gladly announcing that EURICCA initiative‘s first cornerstone event have successfully happened at SoundQuest/ Hangfoglalas music meeting.
The SoundQuest /Hangfoglalas/ fair, and music meeting in this year entertained and involved over 47000 visitors; professionals, musicians, families and enquirers from 15 countries with over 200 programs ; concerts, lectures, music professional award “Create Music Award”, and a conference.
Soundquest/Hangfoglalas is also one of the key event of the national non profit campaign promoting live music called: Zenélni /Create Music/, whichis the result of a cooperation between the stakeholders of the Hungarian Music segment ( performers authors rights offices, music school, institutions). The international conference which took place within Hangfoglalás/Soundquest was also named after that campaign.
The conference’s English sections were brought by EURICCA /New Clustering strategies in the EU introducing EURICCA initiation; Creativity, Music and regeneration- Glasgow; Italian musician non formal education…/; while the local aim of the conference was to generate, and help the cooperation between the various stakeholders of the Hungarian music scene, with amongst others the participation of MESO music Events, Sheridan Music Consultancy and the European Music Day Association.
We are pleased that this cooperation between HANOSZ ( Music Instrumentals Association -Hungary) and EURICCA came to pass so successfully, and gave plenty of further possibilities to cooperate.
Soundquest -Hangfoglalás- Music Fair took place in Budapest from 4th till 6 of october combine and hosted:
- 11.000 square meters expo area,
- 90 exhibitors,
- 320 events (concerts and showcases),
- 2.500 music professionals,
- 47.000 visitors,
- 180.000 individual streamings during week of the event (www.hangfoglalasonline.hu)
